The Department of Home Affairs has released the details of the Skilled Invitation Round for the month of August 2022.
The Department has also revised its invitation rounds for Subclass 190 and 491 visas from “quarterly” to “cyclically“. This could indicate that the skilled visa invitation round may occur more frequently during the 2022-23 program year

This is a permanent visa. It lets you stay in Australia indefinitely. The visa has a travel component that expires 5 years after the date of visa grant.
This is a temporary visa. It lets you stay in Australia for 5 years. You can apply for permanent residency after 3 years from the date of visa grant, if you meet Subclass 191 eligibility criteria
